Aurora Batboat (recast), 1:32 - 1991 Released by T&T Productions. Still vital to me because the Polar Lights reissue was done in 1:24 scale instead of the original smaller 1:32. FROM SCW COLLECTION

Aurora Batcycle, 1:19 - 2002 35 year old styrene kit worth about $550 in the original box. I had built crappy resin recasts of it so many times for clients, I thought I'd treat myself to this build up. 6 months after I built it, the Polar Lights reissue came out. The new one even has chrome wheels. But I'm not complaining. This was my occupational therapy after my 2001 surgery and I took my time with this kit. I am hopefully getting back to the 1:25 sratchbuilt one soon. FROM SCW COLLECTION

T&T 1940's Batmobile (conversion kit), 1:25 - 1991 Same story kind of. Now Corgi and Danbury and DCD all have versions of this car that are very nice. I own a couple of them but I still like this one that is a conversion kit for an AMT '39 coupe model and was an easy build. This is what the car looked like in many comics. FROM SCW COLLECTION |

Batcopter (scratchbuilt conversion), 1:35 - 2003 T&T originally had a conversion kit of this for the Revell MASH copter, and they're the only ones who got the wings right. (Note - the Batcopter did not have big, circular, rounded wings!) I traced the T&T pattern onto thin styrene and reworked the struts and steps to look like the TV version. I made the decals myself in photoshop and the front bat head is cut from red and black sign vinyl sheet. I made several of these over the years from the conversion kits before doing this one from scratch (plus the revell kit.) I tried one with the MRC kit which I found vastly inferior to the Revell. I am still searching for a Vario 1:6 RC Bell 47 and one that is in 1:25 scale. FROM SCW COLLECTION |

T&T Batgirl Cycle, 1:19 - 1995 This was a very rough kit, but a fun idea. If I ever get the time - I'll redo a better one. Tony Mariano basically reworked the fairings on the Aurora Batcycle and stuck the McDonald's Happy Meal Batgirl along for the ride. I added the lacy fringe and the bow like it was on the show. This one was done for a collector. I have some parts for one from Thumps and an old T&T kit. Even though it's really rough, I'd like to have this one back in my Batgirl collection so I'm going to throw one together soon. SOLD TO PRIVATE COLLECTOR |
